Central Nebraska, TEACH!

Central Nebraska, TEACH! aims to address the teacher shortage in central Nebraska by providing interested individuals with a unique pathway to an elementary education degree through Wayne State in partnership with area schools. Candidates for this initiative must have earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) or a Bachelor’s (B.A. or B.S.) degree.

Central Nebraska, TEACH! is designed to serve paraprofessionals, substitutes, and working professionals. It is a cohort-based program of study that features flexible, hybridized, and online courses. The next cohort of Central Nebraska, TEACH! will begin in the summer of 2025.

Cost of the program varies depending on the individual’s transcript and course delivery method. Financial aid is available each semester. Estimated cost per year (tuition and fees): $7,000

Coursework will be offered online and on-site at a local school. On-site courses will be delivered in the evenings, Monday through Friday.
