To teach in a Skilled and Technical Sciences - Skilled Specific education program in the secondary schools of Nebraska (grades 9-12), a teacher must hold or earn concurrently the Skilled and Technical Sciences Education field endorsement and complete the following requirements.

- Departments: Technology and Applied Science, Educational Foundations and Leadership
- Accreditation: Council of Accreditation for Educator Preparation (CAEP)

Work experience
This endorsement is available to those persons who have either A) 1,000 verified hours of paid employment; or B) 300 hours of supervised work experience under the direction of the college relevant to the career field.
