Skilled and Technical Sciences Education/Skilled Specific Supplemental Endorsement

To teach in a Skilled and Technical Sciences - Skilled Specific education program in the secondary schools of Nebraska (grades 9-12), a teacher must hold or earn concurrently the Skilled and Technical Sciences Education field endorsement and complete the following requirements.

Requirements for the Skilled and Technical Sciences/Skilled Specific endorsement

Work experience
This endorsement is available to those persons who have either A) 1,000 verified hours of paid employment; or B) 300 hours of supervised work experience under the direction of the college relevant to the career field.

  • CED 423 Coordinating Techniques (3)
  • Electives from one of the following specific career fields: Architecture and Construction, Energy and Engineering, Manufacturing, or Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics (12)
