Programs like At-Promise and TRIO provide mentoring, guidance, and a strong sense of community to help you succeed and stay connected from your first day through graduation.
At-Promise Program
A selective cohort of up to 50 students designed to support first-generation, Pell-eligible, or underrepresented students. Get personalized mentoring, academic support, and career guidance from your first day through graduation.

TRIO Support Services
A federally funded program that supports eligible students with advising, tutoring, financial literacy, and mentoring. Receive individualized guidance to stay on track and reach your academic and career goals.

Campus services and resources
The WSC Bookstore is conveniently located on campus in the Student Center. At the campus bookstore, you can shop for WSC apparel and gifts, including t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, fan gear, drinkware, and other WSC clothing and accessories. You can also buy textbooks, school supplies, computers and tablets, software, and lots more!
You can also purchase items online with free in-store pickup.
The Student Food Pantry helps provide food for students in need. The pantry is managed by the Office of Residence Life and receives food through donations from faculty and staff, alumni, and other sources.
The pantry has set hours and is located on the south side of Morey Hall.
The Office of International and Cultural Programs offers general support and services to international students.

All student mail, including packages, are delivered to the student mail room located in the lower level of the Student Center. Students are notified through their WSC email when mail is received in their name and how to collect their mail and/or packages.

Wayne, NE 68787The Campus Service Center offers support for technology-related matters and similar services. You can request technology help from the Service Center through the following methods:
- Click - Visit the Service Center website to submit a request for help.
- Call - Call our staff at 402-375-7107 to ask a question or report an issue.
- Visit - Drop-in visits for support are always welcome. The Service Center is located on the main floor of the library.
Campus safety and assistance
Wildcat Wheels provides free safe rides within Wayne city limits to WSC students and their guests. The service runs from 10 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Thursday through Saturday during the fall and spring semesters. No food runs after 12:30 a.m.

Shuttle services are provided to members of the campus community who need assistance in getting across campus. An example would be a student or employee with mobility issues who needs help getting from the parking lot to their residence hall or other campus building. The shuttle is driven by a uniformed security officer and radio-dispatched by Campus Security.

Safety escorts are available to campus members and visitors. A Campus Security officer or campus safety patrol personnel will accompany pedestrians on campus property during nighttime hours or anytime a person is apprehensive about walking alone.

If you have locked your keys in your car or have a flat tire, Campus Security can help. We can unlock your car and air up your tire. Contact Campus Security at 402-375-7216.
The lost and found is located within the Campus Security Office in the Campus Services Building at 704 Lindahl Drive (north of the hospital). Anyone finding a lost article on campus is encouraged to immediately take the item to the lost and found.
The item will be tagged and dated. Anyone who has lost anything on campus should contact Campus Security at 402-375-7216 to report or claim the lost item. Articles not claimed by the owners within two years become the property of the individual who found it, or, if not claimed, donated to charity. Property may be reclaimed between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. Monday through Friday

Academic-related services
The Academic and Career Success Center provides academic advising and one-on-one guidance during your time at Wayne State. Advisors will help you create specific plans so you can focus on your academic goals. We advise freshmen, transfer students, students who are still exploring majors, or walk-in students with an advising question.
The Academic and Career Success Center is a great resource to start your internship and job search journey. Starting your freshman year, they can help you explore jobs, internships, build a marketable resume, prepare for interviews and talk with you about your career path.
Located in the center of campus, Conn Library provides a wealth of resources. Search the catalog for print and digital material, check out our distance and technology services, or get connected with a librarian who can help find just what you need.
Peer tutors provide tutoring in most subject areas, including general education courses. You can meet with student tutors to discuss class material, get questions answered about a class, or receive help studying for exams. Peer tutoring is available to all WSC students at no additional expense. You can book a session online, or stop by the Academic and Career Success Center located on the second floor of the library to set up a session.
The WSC Bookstore is a great place to buy textbooks for your courses. The bookstore works with faculty to choose the most cost-efficient items, and you are guaranteed to get the correct materials for your courses. The bookstore price matches textbooks against Amazon and most competitors. You can shop in-store or online.
