Hands-on workshops focusing on class-specific research and/or use of citations are also available.
Subject liaison librarians
The library can tailor its research assistance to your classes with a subject group liaison librarian, who can serve as a subject matter expert for a variety of projects.

We’ve put together a collection of tools to help you research online and in within the library. We also provide search tips such as narrowing down topics and creating keywords, as well as using special symbols and filters. Plus, you'll learn which sources are best to use when, how to evaluate the sources you find, and how to request materials not at WSC or to have items delivered to your home as a distance student.
Need help? Our librarians at the Research Help Desk can help you find resources for assignments and research papers, and assist you with citing your sources.
