My parents are immigrants from Guatemala, and they were unable to receive an education. However, I am thankful to them that I was able to attend a four-year college here at WSC. This whole college journey has been an amazing experience, and I am proud to be graduating with a degree that will help me help others who also want an education. I was lucky enough to be in the Spanish Club all four years here. I was able to be president for my senior year, and it has helped me develop leadership skills. I wanted to spread more awareness of the Hispanic cultures here on campus, and Spanish Club was able to help with that.
