Our fitness facilities, exercise classes, intramurals, and recreational activities offer a variety of opportunities to help you stay active throughout the year! Between our Rec Center and Outdoor Recreation Complex, indoor track, indoor turf area, multiple weight training and cardio rooms, basketball courts, badminton and pickleball courts, racquetball courts, tennis courts, futsal courts, sand volleyball courts, and fitness trail, you'll have plenty of ways to stay in shape.

Outdoor Recreation
The Outdoor Recreation Complex features basketball, futsal, and tennis courts, in addition to sand volleyball courts, a walking trail, and the disc golf course.

Athletic and Recreation Complex (ARC)
The Athletic and Recreation Complex (ARC) is an air-supported structure featuring an indoor track and turf field.

Outdoor Track and Field
The track and field facilities are primarily used by WSC athletic teams, but they are open to the public when not in use by Wildcat Athletics.


Sign up for a fitness class
Wayne State offers a range of fitness classes for students and employees. These fitness classes are a great way to enjoy a workout and try something new. Classes may have limited openings. To reserve your spot in class, sign up through IM Leagues.
