Emergency Information

Call 911 for law enforcement, fire, or medical emergencies, including:

1. Life-threatening situations or injuries that need immediate medical assistance

• Survey the scene to make sure it is safe
• If possible, stay with the victim and initiate first aid within the scope of your abilities
• Do NOT move the victim if you suspect a back or neck injury
• Use universal precautions upon rendering first aid
• Treat all body fluids as potentially infectious

2. Violence on campus or any college facility

3. Fire - Know what to do in the event of a fire

• Potential danger, misconduct, and/or if you need an escort
• If you observe someone under the influence of drugs or alcohol
• Violence on campus or any college facility
• Bomb threat
• Suspicious or criminal activity
• Hazardous or toxic materials, or chemical spills
• Elevator emergency
• Mental health crisis (evenings or weekends)
