The following links and information are provided as a resource for additional information about sexual violence and sex harassment. On- and off-campus resources are provided to assist with information and support for students.
College Resources
WSC Campus Security
Should you or any student ever feel unsafe on campus, please do not hesitate to contact WSC Campus Security. Additionally, security escorts on campus are available. Campus Security located in the Campus Services Building and can be reached at 402-375-7216.
WSC Counseling Center
Students interested in seeking counseling and/or guidance may contact the WSC Counseling Center on the first floor of the Student Center, which offers guidance and support. You can also call the Counseling Center at 402-375-7321. The Counseling Center can provide assistance and/or referrals for a range of services both on and off campus, including counseling, health, mental health, victim advocacy, and legal assistance.
Survivors Not Victims
Survivors Not Victims is WSC student organization to bring support to those who are survivors, bring sexual assault awareness to campus, and provide preventative measures against sexual assault.
Mandatory Reporters
Mandatory reporters are trained in being a first responder for students facing Title IX-related issues and provide support to individuals who meet with them. To ensure a student is safe and has all campus options available to them, mandatory reporters are required to report Title IX related concerns to the Title IX coordinator. The Title IX coordinator will then reach out to the student to discuss the process and options available to them to prevent, end, and remedy the harassment.

Local Resources
Haven House
The local Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Shelter. Provides victim advocacy, shelter, and services free of charge in Cedar, Dixon, Dakota, Thurston, and Wayne counties.
