Foundation and Alumni Office

The Wayne State Foundation and Alumni Office works with the college in its mission of student development, regional service, and keeping alumni connected. One of the ways the Foundation is able to do this is through the generous support of alumni and friends of Wayne State College. We thank each of you who, through your gifts, help us to provide assistance to Wayne State College and its students. You are investing in the future of the college and our nation.

The Wayne State Foundation proudly supports building projects on the Wayne State College campus.

Recent Foundation projects

Athletic and Recreation Complex
Students train inside the Wildcat Dome, developed through Wayne State College’s Athletic and Recreation Project.
Center for Applied Technology
The Center for Applied Technology opened in 2019 to provide hands-on labs and learning spaces for students in Industrial Technology programs.
Wildcat Press Box
Completed in 2018, the Wildcat Press Box at Memorial Stadium provides modern spaces for media, game-day operations, and Wildcat fans.
Criminal Justice CSI Facility
The CSI Facility provides hands-on crime scene investigation training for Wayne State College students.
Indoor Athletic Complex
The Indoor Athletic Complex was completed in Sept. 2020 and later renovated to a hard court, completed in 2026.
Benthack Hall
The renovation of Benthack Hall was completed in 2021 and provides training spaces for students in education, counseling, and family and consumer sciences.
Peterson Fine Arts Building
The renovated Peterson Fine Arts Building supports Wayne State College's music and theatre programs.
