The Kirk Gardner Indoor Athletic Complex was completed in September 2020 and is named after the former record-setting WSC Football fullback. As a trustee of the Gardner Foundation and member of the WSC Foundation Board of Trustees, Gardner's significant support and contributtions have been instrumental in the resurgence of Wildcat athletics.
The space existed as an indoor turf sports facility for five years, utilized by all Wildcat athletic teams along with use by intramural teams, club sports, and general students, featuring batting cages, putting greens, and volleyball net hookups. In 2026, the turf was transformed into a hard court for basketball, volleyball, and other teams to practice in.
When athletics is not using the facility, it is open to recreational events such as intramural program, club sport practices, and open recreation times.
Staff offices are located on the balcony level that oversees the facility.
