Wildcat Press Box

The Wildcat press box was built at the time of the grandstand construction, with a second level added in 1969. A remodeling project to the press box was completed in 2005. The press box underwent complete renovation with a replacement done in 2018. The new structure is 5,220 square feet and includes an elevator along with club level seating and viewing for corporate events.

The space provides more working space for game day staff and a better working environment for local, regional, and even student media. The facility was first used for the Wildcat home football game vs. Winona State in August 2018.

The Ernest and Lyla Swanson Club Room was formally dedicated during a ceremony held in October 2018. The club level features an area where Wildcat boosters can enjoy a climate-controlled view of the game. The new space also provides Wayne State athletics and other groups on campus the opportunity to host special events.
