Christian Legler, Ph.D. is currently serving as Special Projects Manager before returning to his role as an education professor in August. He is a member of the Teaching and Learning Technology Committee and the Professional Progress Committee, and he serves as the Education Career Pathways Faculty Liaison.
Dr. Legler is also an active member of the Association of Teacher Educators and the Rotary Club of Wayne.
Before joining Wayne State College in 2017, Dr. Legler spent eight years in the nonprofit sector before transitioning to education. He then taught science and social studies for eight years at William M. Raines High School in Jacksonville, Fla.

Academic Interests
Dr. Legler’s research focuses on mentoring and the integration of technology in teacher preparation and professional development. His recent work explores Wayne State College’s education career pathway partnership programs. He has presented his research at multiple state and national conferences, contributing to the advancement of teacher education.
