“All of the professors are so helpful and go above and beyond for their students. The small class sizes allow me the opportunity to get to know my professors well. Due to the small class size and the one-on-one attention that comes with it, I have been able to develop strong relationships with professors that have led me to receive an on-campus accounting position and a summer internship."

"While here at Wayne State College, I’ve experienced a community that has welcomed me and motivated me to succeed. My professors have been very engaging and have made me feel that I am more than just a number."

“Wayne was my first college visit, so I toured many more after, and I realized that none of them compared to the way I felt when I was in Wayne. It was close to home and was the perfect size for me. My first year was spent in pre-nursing, but after my study abroad trip in Greece, I realized that a business degree might allow me to travel more. There are so many versatile things you can do with a marketing degree, and that was also why I chose it. The professors have a lot of connections with alumni, and that’s helpful when searching for jobs. If you need help with anything, whether that be a mentor, advisor, or counselor, you’ll always be able to find someone here at Wayne.”

“I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to pursue my passions and career goals through the Computer Technology and Information Systems department at Wayne State. The professors within the department provided and continue to provide an environment that allows students to learn in more ways than one, while also providing a feeling of understanding when students run into specific problems on course work. The campus in general will make you feel at home, and tutors are always available and coordinate with instructors to provide the best learning experience possible. Programs provided by the department grant students a large array of professional career studies that are technology driven, such as web design, computer programming, robotics server management, and much more. Without support from the CTIS faculty members and the opportunities that were provided to me while attending WSC, I would not be in my current role as an operator analyst at Sirius Computer Solutions in Omaha.”
