Housing Costs

Students may choose from standard, single, or premium rooms. Students choosing to live on campus generally live with a roommate (standard room rate); however, single rooms may be available if space allows (single or premium rates). Housing is also available for the summer semester. Please check with the Office of Residence Life for details. Each student must pay a nonrefundable housing application processing charge of $50. Room rates include laundry, residence hall activity fee, Wi-Fi, and computer network access.

Room types and definitions

  • Standard room (double occupancy): designed for two occupants assigned to meet the room's capacity. Standard rooms are available in all residence halls.
  • Single room (by design): designed for only one occupant. These rooms are smaller than a standard double occupancy room. Single rooms by design are available in all residence halls except Morey.
  • Premium room (single occupancy): designed for two occupants but allows a single student to occupy the room at a premium price. Premium rooms are available in all residence halls.
  • Suite: designed for 2-4 occupants. Suites feature multiple room types that open into a shared living space and private bathroom designed only for the suite's occupants. Suites are available in Stearns Hall.

Summer 2025 housing costs

The following housing costs are for students taking summer courses. Students living on campus in the summer of 2025 will reside in Terrace Hall.
