About Neihardt Hall

Neihardt is a residence hall for first-year students. It's next to Connell Hall (social sciences) and in the vicinity of the Carhart Science Building (lab sciences). In addition to study rooms, TV lounges, and laundry facilities on each floor, Neihardt offers an attractive main floor lounge, a large basement recreation room, and a kitchen that are all great places for student social events. Neihardt Hall is home to the Honors Housing and Career Scholars Living Learning Communities.

  • Quiet hours: 10 p.m. – 9 a.m.
  • Security: Keycard access to building, key access to rooms. Hall is accessible between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday; otherwise, keycard access is required. Weekends have 24/7 lockdown, requiring keycards at all times.
