About Bowen Hall

With eight floors, Bowen is the tallest building in Northeast Nebraska and Wayne State's largest residence hall. Situated right next to the Student Center on the east side of campus, Bowen puts you within easy reach of a variety of campus services and activities. Bowen Hall offers standard and premium rooms at great rates and is available to both freshmen and upperclassmen. Bowen is also accessible to students with disabilities.

  • Available room types: Standard (double occupancy), and premium (single occupancy)
  • Bathrooms: Multiple restroom and shower facilities on each floor
  • Kitchen: Kitchenettes available on floors two, four, six, and eight
  • Laundry: Free-use washers and dryers
  • Game room: Equipped with a pingpong table and pool table
  • Air conditioning: Available in all rooms
  • Parking: Off site, Lot 10 View campus map
  • Quiet hours: 10 p.m. – 9 a.m.
  • Security: Keycard access to building, key access to rooms. Hall is accessible between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday; otherwise, keycard access is required. Weekends have 24/7 lockdown, requiring keycards at all times.
