Scholarships Available Through HRSA Grant
Through our $1.1 million HRSA behavioral health workforce grant, funding is available for clinical mental health graduate students until July 2025. Students must be in their final clinical mental health counseling internship by June 2025 to qualify. Contact Dr. Alison Boughn at [email protected] for more details.
Master's in Counseling (MSE) - Low Residency Format
Complete the foundation courses for your master's degree in counseling in only four semesters! Classes meet two weekends per semester. Summer courses are completely online. Weekend residencies are interactive and involve small and large group processes, discussions, and experiential skills-building activities.

A 60-hour program that will prepare you to become a licensed counselor and provide services in a private or public practice. Some classes for this program are available online.
Master's in Counseling - School Counseling
This 60-hour program offers you a pathway to become a school counselor, even if you don't already have a teaching certificate. Some classes for this program are available online.
Master's in Counseling - Student Affairs and College Counseling
This 60-hour program will prepare you to serve as a counselor or advisor in a technical school, college, or university setting. Some classes for this program are available online.

More than 100 graduate schools from the following states were considered: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.
