Wayne State College offers four main areas for the online master's degree in Education. Whether you’re passionate about helping others through counseling or advancing your career in education, there’s a program to fit your aspirations.

Counseling Programs

The counseling programs offer three focus areas, including Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School Counseling, and Student Affairs and College Counseling. Most of the coursework is online, with minimal on-campus requirements.

School Administration Programs

The School Administration program provides the skills needed to become a principal, assistant principal, or director, offering levels in PK-8, 6-12, and PK-12. Optional focus areas include Athletic Administration and Special Education Supervision.

Our special education options are designed to help professionals meet the needs of students with exceptionalities. The program prepares you for teacher certification in special education or advanced study in special education.

Curriculum and Instruction Programs

With the Curriculum and Instruction - Instructional Leadership program, you can choose an education focus area in which to develop your knowledge and teaching skills, including: Business and Information Technology, Community of Learning, Cross-Curricular, Early Childhood PK-3, Elementary, English, English as a Second Language (ESL), Family and Consumer Sciences, Math, MusicReading Specialist PK-12, Skilled and Technical Sciences, and Social Sciences.
