Kat Kiepke, MSE
Lecturer
Kat Kiepke teaches in the Counseling Department at Wayne State College, where she helps future counselors sharpen their skills, deepen their empathy, and embrace the value of curiosity as a driver for growth and understanding. She is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) in Nebraska.
Her career has spanned inpatient psychiatry, outpatient therapy, residential addiction treatment, and integrated pediatric behavioral health, giving her a well-rounded perspective on client needs and the systems that support them.
In all her work, Kiepke combines experience, curiosity, and thoughtful humor. She values the ability to find lightness in the hard moments as an important part of personal and professional growth.
