Concurrent Enrollment

Students who are currently enrolled and plan to take courses at another institution to apply toward a program of study at Wayne State and qualify for financial aid at WSC, including courses through the Nebraska State College System (NSCS) Joint Enrollment Program, should contact the Records and Registration Office for prior approval.

NSCS Joint Enrollment Program

If you can't find a course you need at WSC during a specific term, you can enroll in a course at another college within the Nebraska State College System (either Peru State or Chadron State). Any courses taken through the NSCS Joint Enrollment Program will transfer back to WSC. To register for a course at one of the other state colleges, you must complete the following steps:

  1. Meet with your faculty advisor. It is the student’s responsibility to consult with an academic advisor for clarification of how the coursework will apply toward your chosen program of study.
  2. Meet with the WSC Financial Aid Office to fill out the consortium agreement for coursework completed through the NSCS Joint Enrollment Program in order for that coursework to apply toward your federal financial aid (if applicable).
  3. Complete the NSCS Joint Enrollment Application
