Neihardt is home to two major Living and Learning Communities: the Wildcat Academy of Leadership and Knowledge (WALK) and the Honors Program. It's right next to Connell Hall (social sciences) and in the vicinity of the Carhart Science Building (lab sciences). Large rooms and new furniture make it a popular choice for upperclassmen. In addition to study rooms, TV lounges, and laundry facilities on each floor, Neihardt offers an attractive main floor lounge and a large basement recreation room and kitchen that are great places for student social events. Neihardt Hall also houses students enrolled during the summer terms and is fully accessible for students with disabilities. Extremely limited availability for freshmen as space allows.

"Neihardt Hall is a great place to live. There are plenty of quiet places to study, but you can also come to the lobby and be social if you want. The atmosphere is comforting and calming. It also houses the Wildcat Academy of Leadership and Knowledge (WALK) floor, so there are some great leaders here, always willing to lend a helping hand."
