Overview

The newly renovated Bowen Hall boasts new rooms, furniture, and facilities. The hall features new windows, new restrooms, study alcoves, and a fantastic new recreation room. With eight floors, Bowen is the tallest building in Northeast Nebraska and Wayne State's largest residence hall. Situated right next to the Kanter Student Center on the east side of campus, Bowen puts you within easy reach of a variety of campus services and activities. Bowen Hall offers standard and premium rooms at great rates and is available to both freshmen and upperclassmen. Bowen is also accessible to students with disabilities.

Bathrooms: Multiple restroom and shower facilities on each floor


Kitchen: Kitchenettes available on floors two, four, six, and eight


Laundry: Free-use washers and dryers


Game room: Equipped with pingpong and pool tables


Air Conditioning: Available in all rooms


Parking: Off-site, Lot #10  View Campus Map


Quiet Hours: 9 - 10 p.m.


Security: Keycard access to building, key access to rooms. Hall is accessible between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday-Friday; otherwise, keycard access is required. Weekends have 24/7 lockdown, requiring keycard at all times. 


Visitation: 24/7 on all floors

Students can check out game equipment and cooking items at the front desk. Front desk hours vary from year to year.

 

"I loved living in Bowen Hall. The community was wonderful, and there was always someone to talk to if you needed a brain break. There were always good laughs with floormates in the lobby, and I made fond memories there.  Bowen really became my home away from home and made the transition to college really easy and enjoyable."
