RA Application Process and Deadlines

The 2026-27 Resident Assistant application opens Jan. 15, 2026.

We are excited that you are considering becoming a Resident Assistant (RA)! These positions are some of the most important, influential, and rewarding leadership opportunities available to students.

Below is an outline of the application, interview, and selection process. Please note all deadlines.

Application deadline: 5 p.m. Feb. 5, 2026
All application materials must be submitted electronically.

Application materials include:

  • General application questions
  • Supplemental essay questions
  • Resume
  • Professional reference form
  • SRA/RA reference form

Informational sessions:

  • 12:30 p.m. Jan. 20, Cottonwood Room, Kanter Student Center
  • Noon, Jan. 28, Cottonwood Room, Kanter Student Center
  • 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Feb. 2, Atrium, Kanter Student Center

Individual interviews: Feb. 27-28
Applicants selected for individual interviews will be contacted via their WSC email to learn more and coordinate interview times. 

Notification: March 6
Employment notification will be sent to the applicant's WSC student email account.
