Wayne State’s campus art collection include hundreds of paintings, sculptures, and other works of art that are important to the college’s history and evolution. As you walk across our campus and explore our facilities, you'll experience decades of art and culture, sharing in a rich past with generations of artists.
Some of our most admired pieces, like Herb Mignery’s bronze statue, are now treasured sites on campus for students, staff, and visitors.
Additional pieces from our collection includes works by Paul Cezanne, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Käthe Kollwitz, and many other artists acclaimed locally, nationally, and throughout the world.
Our campus art collection is also available to view online. Explore the fascinating intricacies of Marlene Mueller’s pointillism on canvas, or Zoran Mojsilov’s symbolism of northeast Nebraska’s terrain in the Rocks project. Our goal is to make our artwork easy to visit and learn about.
Note: The Campus Art Collection is currently offline. Please check back again in the future to see if/when it becomes available.
