The Wayne State College Middle School Music Festival is the perfect opportunity to perform and receive positive and constructive feedback by expert music educators.

Event dates: March 10-11, 2026

Registration deadline: Application deadline is Friday, Jan. 30. Check postmark deadline is Friday, Feb. 6.

Cost:

  • Solos and small ensembles - $12
  • Large ensembles - $50
  • Lunch is available in the cafeteria for $9.60 per person. On the application form, indicate the number who plan to eat in the cafeteria.

Note: Lunches and registration will be included on one invoice that you will receive after the registration closing date. Please make checks payable to Wayne State College and mail to: Lauren Rastede, School of Arts and Humanities, Wayne State College, 1111 N. Main Street, Wayne, NE 68787.

Adjudication details: Solos and small ensembles are adjudicated by one judge and those earning a superior rating receive a gold ribbon. Each large ensemble performance is adjudicated by two judges, provided a superior or excellent rating, and given written and verbal comments.
