About Wildcat track and field camps

Wayne State College offers track and field camps at various times of the year, for multiple track and field events.

  • Hurdles Camp
    The hurdles camp are developmental clinics for junior high and high school athletes. The clinic is designed to teach skills and techniques, offer constructive criticism from current college athletes and coaches, and give assistance in the ideal workout environment. 

    Morning is for grades 7-9, and afternoon is for grades 10-12. 

    The 2026 Hurdles Camp was held June 22 and has concluded.

  • Pole Vault Camps
    The pole vault camps are developmental clinics for junior high and high school athletes. Designed to teach techniques, offer constructive criticism, and give assistance in a workout environment.

  • Throws camps
    The Elite Throws Camp is for athletes entering grades 11-12. The other Throws Camp is for athletes entering grades 7-9 and 9-12. Shot put and discus events are offered at each camp.

    The 2026 throws camps were held June 22-23 and have concluded.

About Wildcat Athletics

Athletics at Wayne State College have enjoyed a rich tradition of success and are an important part of college life, whether for the athletes or fans. Wayne State features 15 NCAA DII sports and several club teams.
