Business, Marketing, and IT Education Licensure and Certification

The Business, Marketing, and IT (BMIT) Education (6-12 field endorsement) program at Wayne State is designed to prepare students for teacher licensure or certification in Nebraska.

The Curriculum and Instruction/Business and Information Technology Education MSE - Business emphasis does not lead to an education endorsement. It is designed for teachers who are already certified in this content area and serves as an opportunity to go deeper into their specialty while simultaneously earning a master’s degree.

The Curriculum and Instruction/Business and Information Technology Education MSE - Information Technology emphasis is designed to prepare students for teacher licensure or certification in Nebraska. View the IT emphasis licensure page.

If you are planning to pursue professional licensure or certification in a state other than Nebraska, it is strongly recommended that you contact the appropriate licensing entity in that state to seek information and guidance regarding licensure or certification requirements before beginning an academic program. For a list of licensing entities, please visit NC-SARA's professional licensure directory.

Also, be sure to notify the Director of Education Services at WSC to check for authorization and licensure eligibility requirements if you relocate during the course of a program.
