Employment Outcomes for Undergraduates
Employment outcomes refer to the post-graduation status of students, detailing whether they are employed, continuing their education, or engaged in other career-related activities. These outcomes are typically measured through surveys and data collection efforts and are essential for transparency, continuous improvement, and demonstrating the value of education to all stakeholders involved.
In line with this, the Career Services Office at Wayne State conducts an employment outcomes survey each year. This survey details the post-graduation paths of students who obtained their undergraduate degree from Wayne State College. The information captured includes the percent of students employed within their field, wage ranges, and the number of graduates pursuing further education. To collect this data, the College uses a variety of methods such as surveys, follow-up calls, and faculty inquiries, continuing for up to one year after graduation to ensure comprehensive results.
Most recent outcomes
Of 619 students who responded to the most recent survey from 2022-23, 93.1% were employed or in graduate school within six months of graduation (based on a 94% response rate).
