Canvas announces all clear for the cybersecurity incident, as of 10:50 a.m. May 8, 2026.
Canvas has indicated that it has regained control of its platform and restored system access for users. Students are encouraged to sign in and complete any remaining assignments, finals, or projects within Canvas.
Faculty will communicate directly with students affected by Thursday’s outage to make arrangements for any missed assignments, finals, or projects.
We do not anticipate significant impacts to graduation or the submission of final grades, although we will continue to monitor the situation closely.
