Don Wisnieski, owner and CEO of Fantasy Drone Shows, will speak at 2 p.m. March 18 in the Gardner Hall auditorium.
Norfolk’s Don Wisnieski, owner and CEO of Fantasy Drone Shows, will be the featured speaker during “CatCHATs: We’re Talking Biz & Tech” at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, in the Gardner Hall auditorium at Wayne State. The public is invited, and the presentation will last approximately 20-25 minutes.
Prior to the speaking engagement, there will be a drone show at 1:30 p.m. north of the Center for Applied Technology.
The event will also be livestreamed.
Wisnieski has more than 30 years of experience in aerial entertainment and 40-plus years of successful business leadership. He is a FAA Part 107 certified pilot, licensed manned aircraft pilot, and a licensed pyrotechnician.

Wisnieski’s events have included drone shows for the implosion of the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, the Iowa State Fair, the U.S. Naval Academy Pep Rally, and Volleyball Day in Nebraska, which was a drone show that was kept under wraps until Wisnieski’s drones flew over Memorial Stadium and lit up the sky with “92,003.” The event marked the largest attendance of a women’s sporting event in the world.
