Selections include the evocative “Songs of a Wayfarer” by Gustav Mahler, transcribed for trumpet by Jan D. Roller. This four-movement song cycle captures the vivid contrast between intense heartbreak and nature’s profound beauty. “Amazing Grace (Jazz and Blues Variations),” arranged by Paul Haack, delivers gospel-infused harmony and “Centennial Horizon” by Kevin McKee portrays the stunning landscape and adventure of the Colorado mountains.
