The 2025 Northeast Nebraska Behavioral Health Conference will take place Friday, March 21, in the Kanter Student Center on the Wayne State College campus. The all-day event is co-hosted by Wayne State, the Behavioral Health Education Center of Nebraska (BHECN) Northeast, and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
The conference is free of charge and focuses on integrative healthcare and rural behavioral health needs. It is open to all helping professionals, including educators, students, counselors, social workers, psychologists, clergy, healthcare providers, and administrative staff. The registration deadline is March 14.
This behavioral health conference aims to offer a variety of traditional clinical topics along with emerging issues while maintaining a strong focus on serving diverse populations and promoting professional development. Sessions include topics such as: clinical practice development, specialized care for diverse populations, mental health and trauma treatment approaches, contemporary issues, and regional Nebraska healthcare initiatives.

Wayne State College is located at 1111 Main Street in Wayne, Neb., and the Kanter Student Center is on the northeast side of campus. The Kanter Student Center is Building #37 on the campus map.

Parking is available in Lot #10 on the map, southeast of the Kanter Student Center. Curbside parking is also available throughout the campus.
