Do you have a desire to learn more about complex health issues, the ability to think critically and creatively, and a desire for career passion? With a minor in Public and Global Health, you’ll learn to apply your academic and professional interests to help solve issues relating to public and global health. You’ll get to choose electives from a variety of disciplines, including biostatistics and epidemiology; health policy, systems, and administration; environmental health; biosocial determinants of health and disease; or disease prevention and health promotion. You’ll have opportunities to attend the annual Global Health Conference, gain practicum experience, and conduct research with the Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department and WSC faculty, including a Fulbright Global Scholar. If you want to help address biological and social problems affecting public and global health matters, a minor in Public and Global Health might be for you!
