The Physics minor at Wayne State College is an excellent way to supplement your major and expand your credentials as a future employee. Physics is a study of the fundamentals of nature that complements and enhances other sciences, such as biology, chemistry, mathematics, or computer science. But it is more than just learning about the world. It expands how we think about and understand the world around us. Beyond the sciences, a Physics minor pairs well with several other programs at Wayne State College, including Business Management, Mathematics, Health Science, Journalism, etc. While pure physics is projected to grow 14 percent by 2026, (Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2017), a Physics minor positively enhances your resume and visibility.
