Whether you know it or not, advanced math is part of everyday life. Math solves problems arising in business, science, engineering, technology, and so much more. Through courses in the Math minor, you won’t just learn how to solve equations. You’ll learn how to apply equations to solve challenges in other fields of study. You’ll explore the structural aspects of math while learning manipulation and theory in order to find solutions. Math can be challenging, yet rewarding, as it is logical and requires creative thinking. A Math minor tells employers you have advanced problem-solving abilities, which is a highly valued skill in today’s job market.
