Injury Science Minor

Injury science is the study of orthopedic and athletic injury prevention, identification, evaluation, and rehabilitation. This minor provides a great opportunity to start applying fundamental concepts to more career-specific topics and hands-on lessons. You’ll explore concepts and skills related to athletic and orthopedic injuries that you would otherwise not begin to study until you enter graduate or professional school. A minor in Injury Science is an excellent complement for students in a variety of majors and pre-professional programs who plan to pursue careers in allied health. Possible careers include physical therapy, occupational therapy, chiropractic medicine, physician assistant, nursing, and orthopedic medicine.
