Criminal Justice Minor

Careers in the exciting fields of law enforcement, corrections, probation and parole, crime scene investigations, forensics, court and social services, homeland security, and private and corporate security are more popular than ever. A Criminal Justice minor allows you the flexibility to apply your degree to a variety of careers like these. You’ll gain a basic understanding of the nature and causes of crime. You’ll learn about criminal justice system - from law enforcement and judicial systems, to probation and corrections. Consider a career in technology as a forensics investigator (when paired with a computer science degree), or work in a crime lab (when paired with a chemistry major). Consider adding a Criminal Justice minor to human service counseling, psychology or sociology, and help at-risk youth as a case manager.
