Admissions Process for International Students

International Transfer Admission Procedures

All international students, whether from abroad or already attending school in the U.S., must complete the following steps. All application materials must be received by the Office of Admissions by the appropriate deadline in order to allow mailed materials to reach the proper destination for timely visa applications:

  • For fall term: June 1
  • For spring term (transfers within the U.S. only): Oct. 1

Step 1: Complete the application for admission.

Step 2: Submit the required admission materials

Step 3: Send your transcripts from all previously attended institutions.

Official transcripts evaluated by a NACES accredited member. SpanTran is our recommended evaluation service. SpanTran has created a custom application for Wayne State College that will make sure you select the right kind of evaluation at a discounted rate. Transfer students who have earned college credits outside of the United States must have a course-by-course evaluation of their credits done. Use an accredited NACES member for transcript evaluation. SpanTran is our recommended evaluation service. SpanTran has created a custom application for Wayne State College that will make sure you select the right kind of evaluation at a discounted rate. International students entering WSC may be required to enroll in transitional courses based on these evaluation services. This is to ensure that students have the appropriate background required to be successful in their program.
