Housing Application
To apply for housing, you need to be admitted. Once admitted you will have received your Campus ID number and Username. You will need this information to establish your network Password. View housing application instructions.
New Student Registration
New Student Registration (NSR) is for students who are ready to make arrangements to attend Wayne State College. The purpose of the NSR program is to provide students with a smooth transition to college life. Wayne State College encourages first-time freshmen who are admitted to attend a New Student Registration program. View available dates and register.
Welcome Weekend
Welcome Weekend is a three-day program scheduled for the weekend prior to the start of classes in the fall semester. During Welcome Weekend, you will meet fellow first-year students and explore the range of programs and services available to you at Wayne State. You may move into your assigned residence hall as early as 7 a.m. Friday. Welcome Weekend will begin with Convocation, an official welcome to Wayne State by our President and others, in the historic Willow Bowl. Welcome Weekend concludes Sunday with the annual President’s Picnic and Student Activities Fair.
Student Health
Wayne State requires proof of TWO MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella) Vaccinations or Show proof of a Positive Blood Titer to Measles (Rubeola)-attach a copy of lab results. International Students ONLY: MUST be screened for Tuberculosis. A NEGATIVE Tuberculin (TB) Skin Test must be done six months prior to enrollment. Positive TB results require a Chest X-Ray. ATTACH A COPY OF TESTING RESULTS AND/OR X-RAY REPORTS.
Exemption: The Nebraska State College System does have allowances for exemption from immunization. An Immunization Waiver Form can be requested from the Student Health Office pertaining to a medical, religious, or temporary exemption.
Please complete the Student Health form. Failure to act in a timely manner can delay your enrollment.

Financial Aid
Be sure to apply for financial aid by April 1st. To apply, you need to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). To file the FAFSA you need to first create an FSA ID. The FSA ID is used to confirm your identity when accessing your FAFSA online. Please note: One of your parents/guardians will also need to create a FSA ID.
Submit final transcripts and test scores
You may have sent your official high school transcript when you first applied. To make your admission final, you need to double-check your school has sent a final official copy showing the date of graduation to the Office of Admissions, as soon as possible. If you have taken any college courses, make sure you request official transcript(s) sent directly to the Office of Admissions as soon as possible. Transcripts may be sent to the Wayne State College Office of Admissions, 1111 Main Street, Wayne, NE 68787.
Familiarize yourself with myWSC
myWSC is the front door to all of the electronic services you'll need to use while you're a Wildcat: WildcatsOnline, student email, the Canvas Learning Management System, your WSC file storage, and many others. As an admitted student, you'll have an account that you'll use to access myWSC, and through it, WildcatsOnline, student email, and all other electronic services we provide. Once admitted, you will receive your account username and email address which grants you access to myWSC.
