Kelly Legler is an instructor of business courses at Wayne State College.
Before becoming an instructor in 2021, Legler was the Director of Student Accounts for the Wayne State College Student Financial Services Office for three years. Legler also has six years of accounting and management experience as the CFO of a commercial real estate firm, two years of public accounting experience with Ernst & Young LLP in New York City, and two years of public accounting experience with the LBA Financial Group in Jacksonville, Fla. She also taught for eight years in the public school system at the K-12 level. She is a licensed CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Legler is a faculty member of Sigma Beta Delta and an assistant advisor for FBLA Collegiate.
Legler's teaching interests include financial, managerial, governmental, and nonprofit accounting, as well as business communications.
