Meet with our admissions staff, tour campus, and talk with a faculty member about your program of interest.
Transfer College Credits
You may transfer up to 66 credit hours from any accredited community college, but you must have earned a “C-” or better at a regionally accredited institution. If you are transferring from a partner school, Wayne State may have already made agreements for your credits to transfer, depending on your program of study.

How to Transfer Colleges: Admission to WSC
1. Apply for Admission
Complete our free application for admission online.
2. Send Official Transcripts
Request an official copy of all transcripts from previously attended institutions to be sent to the Admissions Office. Transcripts may be sent through Parchment to [email protected] or mail to: Office of Admissions, 1111 Main Street, Wayne, NE 68787.
3. You’re Admitted! Set Up Your Account
Note: Some students may receive additional requests for information to be admitted. If necessary, complete any additional requirements.
Once admitted, you'll receive an email with your username and steps to claim your account. This will give you access to myWSC and your student accounts. Get familiar with Wildcats Online, Canvas, and your student email!
4. Register for Classes
To register for classes, you'll sign up for a Transfer Registration Day. The purpose of Transfer Registration Day is to provide a smooth transition to Wayne State College through interactive sessions and course advising.
After You're Admitted
Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships
Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Complete verification items if requested.
Apply for any transfer scholarships offered at your current institution (if applicable) as well as transfer scholarships at Wayne State College.
Confirm Housing Plans
For on-campus housing, complete the application in myWSC. Let us know if you need assistance with housing options!
Complete Student Health Form
All new students must submit a student health form.
Review Transfer Credit
Your transfer credit will be posted for review in Wildcats Online prior to registration. For questions about your credit evaluation, contact the Records and Registration Office at 402-375-7239.

Turn your associate degree into a bachelor's degree
Wayne State College has partnered with the following two-year schools to offer special programs (called articulation agreements) just for you! Learn more about the transfer programs available at each of the community colleges below. And if you're not transferring through an articulation agreement, that's ok. You can still go from associate to bachelor's degree by choosing a program of study that interests you and looking over our transfer guide to see what credits will transfer to Wayne State College.
