Gardner Hall houses the Business and Economics Department at Wayne State. The facility connects to the Center for Applied Technology via a second-story skywalk, providing for all-weather transitions between the two buildings.
Gardner Hall, a modern and spacious 40,000 square foot facility, was built in 1994. Its 200-seat auditorium serves as a great location for speakers and other events on campus. It also includes four large lecture halls and classrooms, a large seminar room, two computer labs, multiple student study areas, a student collaboration space equipped with HD monitors, several faculty offices, and offices for the Dean of the School of Business and Technology.
Gardner Hall is also home to the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). SBDC is a statewide network of business counseling offices available to small business owners or prospective owners in the state of Nebraska. Offices are located at Chadron, Scottsbluff, North Platte, Kearney, Lincoln, Peru, Omaha, and Wayne.
