I graduated from Wayne State College with a B.S. in Computer Science and minors in Computer Information Systems and Mathematics. I worked for 17 years at Ameritas Life Insurance. During that time, I had the opportunity to work as a Senior Software Developer, developing mainframe, web, and various applications.

My focus then turned to DevOps and Analytics, where I managed the Data Analytics Team for the Data Strategy Department. In October of 2019, I had my next opportunity to join the Data and Analytics Department at Sandhills Global to lead the development of our Data Analytics, Data Governance, Data Management, and Data Ops platforms.

I am a 1996 WSC graduate. I double-majored in Mathematics and Computer Science. I interned at Great West Casualty during my junior year at WSC. I returned to Great West full time in 1997 after spending a year working with another company.

My experience with Great West has transitioned from starting as a programmer and moving into the systems analyst role. I spent eight years as a development team supervisor and moved into a business analyst role a few years ago.

I am a Certified Healthcare Information Security Leader, a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society and have been recognized as a CIO to Know 2017-2024.
