Superintendent Licensure and Certification

Wayne State's Education Specialist graduate program (Ed.S.) is designed to prepare students for licensure or certification as a superintendent in Nebraska.

Arkansas superintendent certification

Colorado superintendent certification
The Education Specialist degree (Ed.S.) at Wayne State may certify you for the Administrator K-12 endorsement in Colorado. For initial licensure, you must pass Praxis 6691. For more information on teacher certification in Colorado, contact the Colorado Department of Education.

Florida superintendent certification

Iowa superintendent certification
The Education Specialist degree (Ed.S.) at Wayne State may certify you for the PK-12 Superintendent and AEA Administrator endorsement in Iowa. For more information on teacher certification in Iowa, contact the Iowa Department of Education.

Kansas superintendent certification
The Education Specialist degree (Ed.S.) at Wayne State may certify you for the District Leadership PK-12 endorsement in Kansas. You must have a 3.25 GPA. For more information on teacher certification in Kansas, contact the Kansas Department of Education.

Minnesota superintendent certification
The Education Specialist degree (Ed.S.) at Wayne State may certify you for superintendent licensure in Minnesota. You must have at least 60 credits above a bachelor's degree and 80% of rule competencies attained. Additional courses will need to be taken for Minnesota competencies. May apply for and be issued a provisional license while working to complete deficiencies. A certain number of internship hours may also be required. Missouri superintendent certification
The Education Specialist degree (Ed.S.) at Wayne State may certify you for the Superintendent K-12 endorsement in Missouri. For more information on teacher certification in Missouri, contact the Missouri Department of Education.

Nebraska superintendent certification
Completing Wayne State's Education Specialist graduate program (Ed.S.) at Wayne State College may certify you to work as a school administrator at any level in in a P-12 school system.

North Carolina superintendent certification

South Dakota superintendent certification
The Education Specialist degree (Ed.S.) at Wayne State may certify you for the School Superintendent endorsement in South Dakota. For initial licensure, you must have three fully licensed years of prior teaching experience or pass the Praxis. Wisconsin superintendent certification

You must also have three years of licensed teaching experience and hold a principal license.
