Wayne State's speech camp features sessions with Wayne State's top communication professors, coaches, and students. Open to students in grades 7-12. All abilities and levels are welcome. Registration will be available soon!
About the Camp
This speech camp will feature sessions from award-winning coaches and competitors on Program Oral Interpretation, Humorous and Dramatic Interpretation, Extemporaneous Speaking, Persuasion, Duo Interpretation/Duet Acting, and Informative Speaking. There will also be an advanced writing section for experienced students in public address. Students of all abilities and levels of experience are welcome.

Pricing and options:
Resident camp is $350 and includes:
- Four days of guidance and practice from some of the college’s best coaches and students
- Three nights in one of our air-conditioned dorm
- Access to any literature available in the Wayne State library and database
- Individual and group sessions with Wayne State’s top communication professors, coaches, and students
- Information available to take home to coaches
Commuter camp is $300 and includes:
- Four days of guidance and practice from some of the college’s best coaches and students
- Three meals per day for each full day of the camp
- Access to any literature available in the Wayne State Library and Database
- Individual and group sessions with Wayne State’s top communication professors, coaches, and students
- Information available to take home to coaches
