Camp details
WSC Speech Camp includes sessions from award-winning coaches and competitors on program oral interpretation, humorous and dramatic interpretation, extemporaneous speaking, persuasion, duo interpretation/duet acting, and informative speaking. There will also be an advanced writing section for experienced students in public address. Participants will receive a t-shirt and a lanyard.
The 2025 speech camp event has been canceled.
Cost:
- Resident campers: $345 (includes meals and housing)
- Commuting campers: $290 (includes meals but no housing)
Highlights:
- Four days of guidance and practice from some of the college’s best coaches and students
- Access to any literature available in the Wayne State library and database
- Individual and group sessions with WayneState's top communication professors, coaches,and students
- Information available to take home to coaches
