Registration Open Through May 6 for Wayne State’s 2024 Summer Music Academy

Lessons begin May 6 and run through June 21. Cost is $100.

Registration is now open for musicians and vocalists of all ages wanting to fine-tune their musical skills this summer by participating in Wayne State College’s Summer Music Academy.

Summer lessons begin Monday, May 6, and run through Friday, June 21. The $100 registration fee includes all lesson materials.

The Wayne State Music Academy serves those 5 years of age to adult with one weekly 30-minute lesson taught by a Wayne State music student under the guidance of Dr. Angela Miller-Niles, Chair of Wayne State’s Department of Music. Piano or voice lessons are offered, with lessons for other instruments available upon request. Lessons will take place in the Peterson Fine Arts Building; however, remote lessons are also available.
