Communication Students Win Golden Leaf Awards at 2024 Media Conference

KWSC-FM (radio), KWSC-TV (television), and The Wayne Stater (newspaper) took home several top places during the Northern Plains Collegiate Media Association's conference held March 23 on campus.

Several Wayne State College communication students won Golden Leaf Awards during the Northern Plains Collegiate Media Association’s (NPCMA) conference held March 23 at Wayne State College.

Wayne State broadcasting and journalism students competed against undergraduate students from Bethel College, Chadron State College, Concordia University, Doane University, Peru State College, Black Hills State University, and the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
