Communication Day is Thursday, March 16.
Wayne State College hosts Communication Day on Thursday, March 16, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Elkhorn Room of the Kanter Student Center. This event is free and open to the public.
The day’s highlights include an 11 a.m. presentation by Kateri Hartman, graduate student and media relations associate at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is also Nebraska’s advisor to the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). Hartman addresses the topics of life as a PR pro and the benefits of joining PRSSA. At noon WSC alumni discuss communication employment opportunities, followed by a WSC faculty/staff panel exploring communication careers in higher education. Light refreshments will be available.
