WSC Hosts Student Film Premieres Feb. 7

The evening will feature three student films at the Majestic Theatre in Wayne.

Wayne State College applauds student filmmaking during the Film Program Spring Premieres at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at the Majestic Theatre. The event, featuring three student-produced films, is free and open to the public.

The film debut includes “Girl,” a drama by Emma Franco of Papillion, Neb.; “The King of Berry,” a comedy by Gage Dawson of Neligh, Neb.; and “It’s the Journey,” a comedy by Joe Merkel of Saint Helena, Neb. Students create films under the direction of Dr. Michael G. White, WSC associate professor of film.
