The show opens October 7 and runs through November 9.
Wayne State College opens the Alumni and Faculty Exhibit at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, in the Nordstrand Visual Arts Gallery in Conn Library. Featuring artwork by five alumni and eight faculty, the opening reception coincides with WSC’s homecoming celebration. The exhibit is free and open to the public through Nov. 9.
WSC alumni artists include Cole Beebe, Jeanette Johnson, Bibiana Luevano, Roy Zach, and Emily Heerman. Faculty members displaying works include Josh Piersanti, Dr. Carolyn Albracht, Francine Fox, Sarah Lemmon, Beatriz Rodriguez, Leroy von Glan, Mary Haas, and Lauren Scott Corwin.
The gallery is open Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 3 to 7 p.m. It is closed Saturday. Shows end at noon on closing day.
